تتشابك الأحداث في ذهن الكونت، ولا يجد لها رابطاً
في الوقت الذي تسعي فيه الكونتيسة وسوزانا إلى إيقاعه في مكيدة
من شأنها أن تعيده إلى صوابه
تطلب الكونتيسة من مخدومتها (سوزانا) أن تتلاعب بعواطف الكونت ، وأن تضرب له موعداً غرامياً
حتى تمسك به متلبساً.
في القصيدة تلاعب لطيف بالألفاظ مابين (نعم) و (لا)
يؤديها كل من:
